Nicola Luey (ANTI) is a Tāmaki Makaurau-based designer whose practice is rooted in her diaspora identity. The aesthetic of her designs draw from formative fashion and music subcultures; a lens of personal nostalgia through which familiar streetwear silhouettes are reconsidered. The heart of Luey’s practice seeks to awaken an essence of personhood and reflect her ongoing journey of learning and reconciling with her past and present selves.
