Emma Muir is a Tairāwhiti born (Ngāti Porou) designer based in Pōneke. She launched her brand Rhoda Nunn after graduating from Te Pūkenga (formerly Otago Polytechnic) in 2021.

Taking a thoughtful approach to fashion design, Rhoda Nunn aims to create timeless, well-crafted garments which are cherished, lived in, and passed on.

Playing with juxtaposition and reference, inspiration is drawn from the relationship between romanticism, nostalgia and optimism, and the mundane – the here and now.
